Buffalo hump is usually a side effect of steroids. It usually goes away after the steroids have been tapered off.

You can find a roller like capati roller. As big as your thigh maybe. I know it too small but you can make it larger by wrapping it up by your daily newspaper I think. Lie on it and keep rolling your back for 15 minutes a session. You can do anywhere which you feel free to do so. Make it as A MUST for your daily workout/routine for a faster result. Dont forget to do to your back muscles around both of your shoulder blades too. Added something like moving around your head with O,W,M forms. I did these for 2 months on and off yet I clearly noticed it will take us for only 2-3 days to see the result. Since it will save you a lot esp your surgery expenses, a donation of USD2000 to my paypal account would appreciate it much.haha..

you don't give your age or any of your health conditions.

You might have a degenerative bone disease. Or you have poor posture. Rickets, arthritis. Or you are on prednisone.

That's hard not to joke at, but I haven't heard of it.

Check WebMD for info.
