Please include first and middle names if possible!

You all have given some wonderful names! I have liked James Walter Joseph for a while now, but he hates it! He says it's too long and old fashion! I chose James for my mom's dad, Walter for my dad's dad, and Joseph for his family's name, (every guy or girl in his dad's family has Jo, Joe, or Joseph as a first or middle name)! He likes Chase Andrew, but I don't! I've always thought of Chase as a name to be made fun of, kids are so cruel, and as for Andrew, I like it, but almost every boy in either of our families under the age of 15 has that for a first or middle name...it's a little played out! I also like Benjamin Bradley, but his last name will be Dunn, and I won't name my son Ben Dunn! I'm not that mean! He really doesn't like James Walter Joseph, but I can't get over it! Is that wrong?

There is NO hurry. Wait until the baby arrives and let it come to you. You will be surprised how it will just come to you both. Good luck and in good health.

Congrats! Any names that's passed on fron generation to generation ? I was named after my g-grandfather Daniel (which was my dad's mother's dad's name) and Joe (which was mom's dad's name), thus the name Daniel Joe.There're are others, If it's born between 12-23 and 12-27, that'd be a perfect date span for the name Christopher, don't know a real good middle name, except maybe Allen or a family name. Again, congratulations!

The trend now is swinging back to more "old-fashioned" names, which I think means names you don't have to tell people how to pronounce! Personally, I like relatively simple names, nothing that sounds made-up, and a name that I can see myself shouting across a playground in two or three years and not feel embarassed or judged for using. :)

I have a daughter named Alison Grace, and she will be attending school with a thousand Jordans, Jaydens, Kaydens, Jacobs, Ethans, Aidans, and Brooklyns. I know there are other Alisons out there, but I haven't met a little one yet. It's looking like, if you want your baby's name to stand out, go the old-fashioned route. I'm already thinking that my next child, if it's a girl, will be a Vivian Rose. :)

I like boy's names such as Gareth, Adam, Paul, Henry, Edmund -- that kind of thing. But you'll know the name when you hear it out loud for the first time. It might be a made-up name, or something exotic and ethnic, or an old Anglo-Saxon stand-by. Whatever you choose will be perfect, and don't let anyone bully you into changing it!
