Go to a professional hair stylist. What you put on your hair had too much "drabbing". A Pro will be able to strip the gray out and make your hair a decent color.

Been there done that: I had gray hair and also blue hair from home hair styling

Yes indeed, she knows what she is doing.. This is the only way to get the color stripped out if it is beyond 24 hours since you did it. The developer shouldn't be anything over 20.. 30 vol left in foils too long might give you some breakage. Next time you use a color try using a toner instead of a permanent tint. Were your ends much lighter than the golden color from the roots to the middle? IF so, the tint grabbed those ends because they were just too porus. Have your hairdresser friend do your color or reccommend one next time.. And stay away from the platinum based too unless you want to be blue. If I use beige blonde toner on my lightened hair it turns it a nice pink... NOT so nice I should say. LoL>... good luck....

Buy Ultress Ultimate blonde (or other color you like). My redheaded girlfriend died her hair black on a dare and then cried for hours! this was the fix that made her look fab the next day! Good luck! (P.S. Stylists are willing to do Free consultations!)

you can buy hair color that's your normal color and dye it back, then wait about a month and go to a hair stylist and have them dye it to the color you want.

This is not a question of exactly what other people "like" or not. An individual have to take many things into consideration, before jumping from one end of the spectrum to the additional. It helps to understand your coloring. Are you neutral, warm or cool? The undertones in your skin may compliment your hair

Go to a salon. If they screw up at least they will fix it. Go to a pro.
