The amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood changes throughout the day and night. Your levels will vary depending upon when, what and how much you have eaten, and whether or not you have exercised. The American Diabetes Association categories for normal blood sugar levels are the following, based on how your glucose levels are tested:
A fasting blood glucose test. This test is performed after you have fasted (no food or liquids other than water) for eight hours. A normal fasting blood glucose level is less than 110 mg/dl. A diagnosis of diabetes is made if your blood glucose reading is 126 mg/dl or higher. (In 1997, the American Diabetes Association lowered the level at which diabetes is diagnosed to 126 mg/dl from 140 mg/dl.)

A "random" blood glucose test taken at any time. A normal blood glucose range is in the low to mid 100s. A diagnosis of diabetes is made if your blood glucose reading is 200 mg/dl or higher and you have symptoms of disease such as fatigue, excessive urination, excessive thirst or unplanned weight loss.

Another test called the oral glucose tolerance test may be performed instead. For this test, you will be asked, after fasting overnight, to drink a sugar-water solution. Your blood glucose levels will then be tested over several hours. In a person without diabetes, glucose levels rise and then fall quickly after drinking the solution. In a person with diabetes, blood glucose levels rise higher than normal and do not fall as quickly. A normal blood glucose reading two hours after drinking the solution is less than 140 mg/dl, and all readings between zero to two hours are less than 200 mg/dl.
Diabetes is diagnosed if your blood glucose levels are 200 mg/dl or higher.

What is a random blood sugar test? A random blood sugar test measures your blood sugar at any point in time, not necessarily a certain amount of time after a meal, snack or beverage. What's normal? A normal random blood sugar result is lower than 100 mg/dL. What level suggests prediabetes? If your random blood sugar level is higher than 100 mg/dL but lower than 199 mg/dL, you may have prediabetes. What level suggests type 1 or type 2 diabetes? A random blood sugar level of 200 mg/dL or higher suggests either type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Remember, your blood sugar level alone isn't enough to differentiate between type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Your doctor may do other tests to determine which type of diabetes you have.

For The Orthotoluidine method- normal values for
FBS - Fasting Blood Sugar is 50-110 mg/dL.
2-HPPT - after 2 hours - 50 -110 mg/dL

For Nelson Somgogyi Method, normal values for
FBS - Fasting Blood Sugar is 80 - 120 mg/dL
2-HPPT - after two hours - 80 -120 mg/dL

There is a slight variationm between the two. The International Units could be derived by multiplying the values in mg/dL with the conversion factor of 0.05555 to get mmol/L

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

normal blood sugar is a level at which it forces no effect on that person.

what is normal to you , may be slightly abnormal to others.
