They'll simply argue that was abolished along with everything else in Judaic Law when Christ came around.

Not true. We are under the new covenant - Jesus Christ - not the law. Sorry. Also I would not throw the first stone as I am a sinner - saved by grace. Blessings.

We have all sinned and do not have the spiritual authority to condemn people (which includes stoning).
