Hi all! I met someone on an online dating/ friendship/ hookup site, and after countless email we met. Though we are very different (he is 14 years older than me, different ethnicity, much taller), we instantly clicked and we discovered we have so much in common. It has been a few weeks now and I have seen him every weekend, the most recent couple of which we spent whole evening together.

I was happy to hear that he feels we have a connection, that he wants more than just friendship or simply a physical relationship. He gave a speech about how he is loyal and commited and does not believe in open relationships. Music to my ears.

A friend of mine who also has a profile on that same site we originally met on told me that Mr loyal has been logging every night to the web site. But what takes the cake is that just after my friend updated profile, my Mr. Loyal sent a private msg asking for a face pic. What should I do? Shall I ask my friend to pursue it to find out how far he'll go? :(

he can be loyal for the first 3 days..but how long can he be loyal with you.you never seen him.guys on net will say anything to get your attention.it can be just for fun.don't take it seriously.don't dig your own grave.have a balance in this relationship. i'm not being asking you to be negative, just be practical..its your life. don't let some guy on the net to play with it..

I think you can expect loyalty from someone you meet anywhere, as long as they prove themselves to be honest. Apparently, this guy is not, as he is lying to you about wanting an exclusive relationship. The fact that he is online every night and contacting other women is evidence that he is not looking for commitment right now. Maybe you should continue dating others until you find a like minded partner who is ready to settle down with you.

you can expect loyalty from a guy online i met my husband online . But look he hasn't made a promise to and he isn't dating you. So maybe he feels like it hasn't reached a level where he is ready to commit to you so he is still looking for someone. Unless you guys start dating and he is still doing this then it is time to leave. I guess you can use your friend to see if he does this after you are in a relationship just dont go to far with him so you can leave happily

go for it. you are not in a committed relationship yet and if you are having doubts now? you have nothing to lose if your friend agrees to pursue it and see exactly where things go.

this way if the man you met is not living up to the standards he has set then you will know he is not the one for you.

Sounds like this person is just looking for a good time and will say anything to close the deal so to speak.

If you have a feeling something is to good to be true, your probably right, have your friend go thru with it. Better safe than sorry.

You know you see what he is all about, forget this guy, he is just playing you..and no don't ask your friend to see how far it goes, you do see he is just lieing to you...so just tell him or better yet check on-line to see for your self...and drop him...........he is not worth it girl, you'll just keep getting hurt..........
