What's the best way to get rid of a car of you don't want to trade it in, and you don't think you can sell it?

I crashed my car, so it's pretty much worth nothing now and I can't afford to repair it. How can I get rid of it?

ring up and auto wrecker in the phone book? they will come take it away too.

call a salvage yard they will give you 50 - 100 dollars as long as youve got the clear and legit title and they haul it away.

BEFORE you do that, if its fairly rare or is a tuner type car, (small import) you may want to see if you can sell some of the parts to your local tuner kid, who has bought a rust bucket or just wants to have a stock set of wheels for the winter.

Check the phone book or newspaper ads. Some salvage yards will come pick it up and tow it away and pay you for it. A lot of salvage yards want you to bring it to them.

Call a junk yard. Check the yellow pages, or see if some are listed in the classified ads of your newspaper (they usually are).

run it in the local auto trader,,someone might need it for parts,,you never know there has to be something usable on it,like a transmission or something,even a door handle,,but there's always a demand for parts so id try that before i gave it away,,good luck,,someone will buy it,,i hope this help,s.

Haul it to a metal recycling plant where they pay you depending how heavy it is. Prices are usually highest in the early part of spring.
