I'm 14 and I get about 5 hours on a school night. Most adults are supposed to get 7-8 hours, teenagers about 9, and children about 9-10. How much sleep do you get? Is it enough?

I get about 6 hours on an average night. I am a light sleeper and I tend to wake up and not be able to fall asleep again. At my best I get 8-9. I am a young adult.

To comment on "deb" yeah, a lot of meds for bipolar will make you sleepless until your body gets used to them (depending on which meds - different for all people)

I get roughly 3-5 hours a night. It's been like that for years now. Some weekends I will sleep 8 or so hours, but then I wake up all tired and falling over myself. I also suck down about 5 coffees a day as well, and that's probably not the best idea. I guess when I get my 2 jobs more situated, I'll refresh my sleeping habits back to normal, but until then, I'll continue being the groggy fool that I am.

I'm 16 and I'm loaded with classes, work, and other various activities. On a good day, I get about 7 hours of sleep. On a busy bad day, like last night, I get 4 hours of sleep. It's enough to be alive, but really bad for learning since I have a hard time retaining information. My goal for this year is to get more sleep (7 hours) so that I can study less. =P

I usually get from 0-12 hours of sleep. I have insomnia as a side effect of taking adderall. When I go a day or so without sleeping, my body usually stays asleep for as long as it needs to, to make up for being awake so long.
Not a very good pattern though - it's healthier to sleep and wake at the same time each day and 7-8 hours is a good amount.

I'm 20 and I generally like getting like 9 or so. It's hard in college and some of my friend make fun of me for it, but I don't care, I love my sleep! I don't get 9 everynight, usually when I only have class or work early in the morning. It's totally up to your body though, if you can function on only 5 hours then that is awesome, but personally I need more so yeah....good luck trying to figure it all out! :)

The past few weeks, I've had sporadic sleep with waking every hour or so, and only three to four full hours of sleep. I wish it weren't so.... I need at least eight hours of sleep sometimes, but used to only require five and sometimes still do great on only five.

sometimes none, sometimes a whole lot. This time of year I get about 12 hours per night, cos it's dark when i get out of work, so all i want to do is sleep.

I usually get about 6 hours of sleep each night, not because I go to bed too late, and because I wake up too early, it's because I have insomia. (It used to be much worse, and it's getting better) I'm supposed to sleep more, but I don't.

P.S, I'm 12.
