Everything is relative. Nothing is ever black and white. I find evolution to be good, while others may say it's evil. I find murder to be bad, but I do not see abortion as murder, which is perceived as evil to some. I find child molestation to be the sickest evil, but some priests and members of NAMBLA would disagree.

The notions of good and evil are value judgements created by mankind. They are concepts. Do those concepts exist? Of course they do. Does good and evil exist OUTSIDE of our understanding of them as humans in a society with rules and ethics? Of course not. An idea only exists in the place in which it was created...the mind.

More like wrong and right. Good and evil are based on external influences, though they do have some relationship to right and wrong. Still, good and evil tend to be more religious than purely moral terms.

Sure but the labels, good or evil, are qualitative terms and are not clear cut. One persons idea of something good may not be as good or even good at all to someone else.

It only exists in us, It is upto every one of us to keep them in control and how we supress the good or evil in us makes us a bad person or good person respectively.

because i perceive something to be good or evil, therfore it is good or evil to me, and so good and evil are not definitive
