Im planning on getting a skull tattoo on my upper arm. Not too gruesome, but not too plain either. Im sure ill regret it soon enough, but on my other upper arm, eventually i was thinking about getting a cross tattoo. this wont lose any value with me, but i have a dilemma. Do you think this is like a sin or anything to have something sort of wicked and antichrist about it right across from a holy cross? i dont know. i dont really think its too bad, but if it would be really horrible i might have to rethink everything. I dont especially want to get a cross as my first tattoo. too plain. Any comments are welcome! Thanks

a skull is not sinful, wicked or antichrist. for years skulls were put on gravestones. it's a sign of mortality. i have a tattoo of a skull on my foot and while i don't have a tattoo of a religious symbol (yet) i wouldn't NOT get one because of a skull tattoo. get what you want to get. i don't see any reason to feel conflicted about it.
the following link is a picture of the skull my tattoo artist based the tattoo off of, i tinted it maroon for him to see the general look that i wanted and the third picture is what my tattoo looks like. i love it and wouldn't think of having anything else!

Its not wrong I didnt feel to right bout mine either so what i did was keep them apart the horrible tattoos from heel r goin on my left arm and my right arm is full of good religious tattoos. There shouldnt be anything wrong with your tattoos they should represent you dont get them just for fun if a cross represents your faith then get it if skulls represent the evil in you then get it but remember it might not mean to much to u later on so get something that really means something cause it costs alot of money to take one out.

It's not a sin to get a skull and cross tattooed on your body, but remember that God gives an angel incurable tuberculosis every time someone gets a tattoo. I have 5.

If your doubtful DONT do It!
Give it 3 months if you still want it in 3 months than go for it.

Myabe you need to listen to that small voice that is telling you its questionable???

if you like it...what is the problem. too many questions in here worry about what others think and a tattoo is self-expression and if you want both the way you said then go for it and stop wondering about everyone else's opinions. good luck and i hope you do it....
