What r the qualities a girl shud look in a guy for arranged marriage?

If it's an arranged marriage, do you even get a choice? I would say if you are forced to marry someone, try to look for qualities in him that are common to someone you WOULD choose. Is he funny? Kind? Smart?

Basically, his way of communication, how he interacts with you, your younger sister, your parents, his own parents and siblings, his dress sense, how presentable he is, are the only things that we can access in a short period. You may ask some probing but open-ended questions though with a big smile to know more about his nature and intellect such as what kind of future do you envision for yourself, what if I am not as good as you would like me to be, what is your idea of ideal wife and ideal married life. Questions like these should set him talking and revealing more about his real nature. Do not make it an interview session though or he will be on his guard and you will never get to know the truth. Ask them casually, in the manner of talking. Be ready to be honest when he asks similar questions.

Dont rush into the marriage itself.. questions to ponder How does he feel about his mother What would he ask a suiter who came for his sister Ask his sister, aunt, what is his crowning asset or worst asset. Where he went to school, how far did he go in school, ie: college, some college, graduated etc How is he set financially, good job, does he have a home yet, or are you going to live with his parents. How does he spend his money, does he have a savings. Is he in debt to any one now? How long can it take to pay off. How does he feel about starting a family, soon, or wait What is is religious point of view (if different from yours) and if different, how does he plan on dealing with the religious upbringing of your children Is he active or sedentary.. Is he healthy, have any genetic diseases in family... Ask his friends or co workers how he is in public Is he a flirt, ladies man, or proper gentleman How does he feel about women, equal, or not equal but somewhat sharing in lifes situations.. will he expect you to work, full time, part time, stay at home, and if he wants you at home, will he allow you to pursue hobbies outside the house. erm.. I could go on.. but these will give you a head start
