Things will unravel as time passes.

Just as Zeus no longer is responsible for lighting we will discover things that we now attribute to God.

My question is though? What happens when science explains things attributed to God and people begin to lose faith. Once faith is lost then people might lose morals.

How do we function in a world without morals?
What moral tenants will the world follow?

GOOD question! And considering the number of generations during which the faith has continuously grown, not to mention the number of superlative minds who have attained doctorate degrees in the subject, any thinking person would have to conclude that your personal lack of experience and knowledge in this area doesn't invalidate the subject matter, and that any claims to that effect cannot be taken seriously!

What? Are you saying that Christianity is a fabrication passed down for generations? I beg to differ. I have the Holy Spirit that bears witness that Jesus Christ is Truth.
