they are taught they are naturally bad people who need to be saved - it's a way of enslaving them to superstition and ultimately religion.

"If we are awakened in the middle of the night by the noise of a lamp being knocked over downstairs, what is our first thought? 'There's someone in the house!' i our immediate (and perhaps frightened) reaction. Then, while we hold our breath and listen anxiously for some other explanation. Did I leave a window open, so that the wind might have knocked the lamp over? Could it be the cat prowling around? Did one of the children wake up and go downstairs for something?
Now why is it that we feel we MUST find a reason for a crash of the lamp? Why not jut say, 'Nothing knocked the lamp over; it just happened, thats all,' and turn over and go to sleep again? The reason why we have to find an answer for the noise is that we are SENSIBLE people; we have a mind that thinks, and we know that nothing happens unless something causes it to happen. That is so plain that it hardly seems worth mentioning."
Wouldn't it be more shame that a person, though afflicted with mental illness, would appear more sensible than you are?
Catholic priest? Roman Catholic or Ecumenical "Catholic"? And ALL Ecumenical "Catholic" priests? This seemed to have escaped your probing mind.
True Christian teaching puts it: "All is good"; otherwise, everything would not have been created. Do some more research and exercise your mind to critical thinking.

Some people that say they are Christians really aren't behaving like true Christians are suppose too. But you should also realize that everyone makes mistakes. Everyone is imperfect. And the only way to realize the good from the bad is knowing God's standards, for he is the one with no beginning. The reason why almost nothing is good is because the the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one(1 John 5:19) Therefore, the Devil wants us to not obey God, to not believe in God and etc. that is why he promotes a lot of things that for us humans seems appealing, but is really wrong in God's eyes. Us humans want to rule ourselves. Do you really think that if there were no laws what-so-ever, there would be peace? THE WORLD WOULD BE A TOTAL CHAOS!!! And secondly, Jesus died so that we could have everlasting life and forgiveness of our sins. And he died for us from his own will. He wanted to because he loved us dearly. That is why we are happy he died. He himself wants us to be happy. . .

1.That's because most Missions are run by Sectarians and that's the only place they get a warm meal and ham or turkey on Christmas day.
2. Beats me. I don't understand why they are excommunicated the moment they are convicted and why they aren't suspended the moment they get accused. That guy who did things with Foley, he's still saying communion out on the island in semi-retirement
3. A couple I've heard of. I've known none.
4. and 5. I don't know, but a LOT of black musical artists seem to ALWAYS THANK GOD at the Grammy Awards, and almost NO WHITES do that, so someone is happy with God or Jesus or both for something! Does it bug you to watch the Grammys and see Black Guys accpeting awards and Thanking God!

Are christians the only ones who believe in God?
You really don't seem to have broadened your horizons!
Just because a catholic priest molests kids, doesn't mean the rest of the christian world is insane!
Look, you also have dirt, you can't say that you haven't sinned! You'd be lying!
How many mentally ill people have you met? That talk about God?

You think what ever you think because you choose to. bless the mentally ill homeless people that call on God. I mean if anyone should turn their back on God wouldn't you think someone living on the street would? Catholic priest there are a lot of good ones but it doesn't sell news. I have heard of a few. corrupt Pasteur's I think people take their eye of the prize sometimes and Satan will go after them to do the most damage. I praise Jesus everyday for loving me enough to do what no one else would do. Compared to Jesus yes Christians fall short.

1. Talking about God is a persons choice
2. Believing in what or who you want to believe in is a persons choice
3. Catholic Priest are not God they are just men with a problem..........they are inperfect beings in an imperfect world. They are not God.......Paul in the bible says follow me as I follow Christ in other words if I am no longer following Christ then don't follow me.
4. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God
5. The bible says that unless you are born again....not a natural born again but a spritual.......just like anything in life unless you desire to change or make a change for the better your life will remain the same
6. Why do you feel the need to jump on Christians?
7. I believe what I believe by my choice just as you do by yours.
8. Don't let the fact that a man says that he takes a vow of celibacy that he won't at some point fall.........he can
9. Molesting children is disgusting.........that a person says they are a follower of God and does such things is a deceiptive man with thoughts that are incorrect. Children are innocent......whether a person says they are Christians or not.......children should not be harmed.
10. Pastors are just men..........just like the priest.....if you make them into a god they will think they are one......but they are not........they are not perfect....not even close....they are no different then you trying to figure out for yourself what is best for your life. We want to know.....we think we do but we don't have all of the answers......each morning we get up we have to figure out what to wear, what to eat, etc..........
11. Unless a Chrsitian is your thoughts, your mind, your will......they are not making you think this way.....you choose do because you just don't understand and you are not getting anyone to answer the question in way you do understand.
I pray that God will speak to your heart...........
It's all good...........God is
Don't look at a man and think you will see Christ......we should be examples of Him but we falter, we forget and we make mistakes.....not all Christians are weridos

1. Those people may have problems, but they may still have a relationship with God so they may talk about Him. I am not sure what kind of point you are trying to make with this comparison because it makes no sense.
2. Catholic is not Christian.
3. People can say they are Christian but not be Christian. People who are corrupt, such as the pastor who had his community poison themselves and their family, are people who are talking the talk, but not walking the walk. They are fakers.
4. He died to save our souls. Man has a natural instinct to do evil acts because of Satan's grasp on the world. Everyone sins and because God said that sin leads to hell, Jesus took on all the sins of the world when he was crucified, and so opened the door to Heaven for anyone who believes and asks for forgiveness.
5. Not true. There are a lot of good people out there. What we say is that no one is perfect. Everyone sins and needs to be forgiven by Christ Jesus.

You are making a lot of generalizations. You can't just classify us as just christians. there are many diverse branches of christianity.
It's true that we have serious issues in some places, i won't deny it (corrup pastors, children) but we're not proud of our faults. it's not like we support the people who do these things. Also, the offending people are a select few who obviously DO have mental disorders. anyone who would molest a child has real metal problems.

When you become a real Christian - trusting in Jesus - your spiritual eyes will be opened. Right now - you only see the physical - not the spiritual. I will pray for you - that your eyes will be opened to the Truth - Jesus Christ. Without Jesus, you will not have Truth in your life. Also talking about God all the times proves that I love Him above everything else - nothing wrong with that - what do you love and talk about all the time? Blessings and I pray you find Him - Jesus - He is so good.
