In the United States, the preparation of receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation usually takes two years.

Contact you local parish and ask about Confirmation preparation classes.

With love in Christ.

Why would you ever want to get her confirmed in a faith that you obviously don't even attend yourself? You wouldn't even be asking this question if you regularly attended, because you would know the answer to this. What's the point of getting her confirmed when the "faith" obviously doesn't even mean that much to you? Just to continue on the Catholic charade? I just don't get that! Do some serious self examination and either embrace the Catholic church FULLY, or go somewhere else. jeez!

you should let your daughter choose her religion on her own. talk to her to see if this is what she really wants. my sister went through confirmation until about 2 months before the ceremony and decided that she didn't know if she believed in god. no one should be pressured to join a religion.

p.s. i will be confirmed in May. I believe in god even if my sister does not.

See your priest to arrange for the required course of instruction, which will lead directly to her reception of the sacrament.

burn her at the stake like catholics have done in history or just let her find her own faith in a god or God. give her a multiple test on catholism and see if she can remember those songs/hyms with her rosery beads.
