bigger exhaust

Depending on what you want to spend, I would suggest either a K&N air filter or a complete cold air intake by K&N. A filter will be cheaper at around 40-50 bucks but wont add very much, if even noticable power, I think its worth it to just go with the complete cold air intake. Another option is exhaust, for your need a cat-back exhaust system would probobly be sufficient. (Cat back meaning from the catalytic converter on back) This will add power as well as a louder more rumbling sound, depending on what brand of exhuast you buy.

I don't know what you mean by low cost, but I can think of two things that would give you more power, and if you're lucky (meaning drive right) it could even increase your gas mileage.
1. google for a power chip for your vehicle-no specific site-cause you don't know who's going to be cheaper at any given time. be equiped with your make, year, vin.
2. cold air (around $300) or replace your stock air filter with a K&N filter-this will give you a nominal increase in power.

you get it "chiped" which means a mechanic changes the performance memory...not too expensive....you could have the air intake changed......less than $300 for either & your HP will increase by at least 25 o/o
