I'm looking to make a guglhupf: it's a type of Austrian cake and it uses a very particular type of tin to bake. I can't find such a tin anywhere in London, but nor can I believe that in these days of European unity I might never find one! So, if anyone knows where I could buy such a thing, I'd be very grateful to find out....

Just guessing by the name, I think your looking for a kugel pan. A quality kitchen store should have one. I think even my mother has one. We're German heritage. It seems to ring a bell with me. I know how frustrating it is when you can't find something like this. For me it has been a lid to my Moulinex La Machine food processor. Mine broke and without it the machine doesn't work at all. The company sold to Regalware and the lid seems to no longer be available. So frustrating! It's a great machine. Good luck and best wishes to you.

Hope this helps. Didn't read it all, but it appears to be a German supplier of baking utensil. You could probably just do a yahoo search for the "tortissimo" name a get the web site.
