no we have freedom of religion in this country and that means I have the freedom to cover too.
I can not help it if men rule this country and they think that they are in titled to look at women and think indecent thoughts. It is my right.

most women wear a scarf from time to time. I wear doo rags sometimes - especially on bad hair days. It's kind of a style. If women want to wear a scarf for religious reasons that is fine too.
Many people feel, right or not, that cases where religion or culture dictates wearing a scarf it imposes on free will and personal rights.

That would be not only discriminatory and contrary to the First Amendment, but stupid. Women have the right to wear what we like as long as our bits and pieces are covered. I really don't see what that would add but repression, inconvenience, and a real reason for outrage by Muslims.
Scarf-wearing doesn't need to have religious significance!Yesterday, it was cold in the morning, and my wife, whose head is shaved, decided to go out with a large, fabulous designer scarf tied "hijabi" style. And I've covered rollers and bad highlights with scarves. Live and let live!

Nope because that would impair people's right to freedom of religion. Wearing a scarf is a VERY personal choice and you have the right to express your religion as long as it is in a peaceful manner.

Absolutely not! It does not bother anyone, or atleast it should not. It's just like if I want to wear a jacket or not. It does not interfere with someone elses life.

No. Headgear is an American tradition.
Veils are another matter.
