What does it mean if your doctor asked to go back in again to check up with the abnormalities in your bloodtest regarding your Kidneys (possibly dry kidneys) or what not? Should I be worried, even though my blood pressure, cholesterol, are good? Why haven't I experienced any of the symptoms of kidney disease, or are there more that I don't know about?

Thanks

Often, a screening panel of blood tests may include serum creatinine and a calculated glomerular filtration rate. These tests are screening tools to look for early, subtle signs of kidney disease. Sometimes the tests are inconclusive and may require a repeat test or perhaps more involved testing to see if there is early kidney damage present. Most people with mild kidney abnormalities will not have symptoms. Hopefully your doctor will tell you more when you go back.
