You could try the System Restore which takes you back to a time when your computer was working good. Go To:
start
programs
accessories
systems tools
system restore
This process is completely reversable. And does not remove your personal files. Just go back one checkpoint at a time until your puter is working good again.

All new software and hardware commonly pass this stage. Isn't after several months that developers can make sure its bugs free. I recommend to stick to your old explorer and upgrade to ie7 in a little while. In the other side, your experience (good or bad) help them fix any problem.

GO to add/remove programs->check SHOW UPDATES >look for CRAPPY IE7 and REmove. This IE7 is not yet compatible with many ISP so I would recommend you dont upgrade until you find its compatible with your isp.

Look up answers, we have done this too, but able to restore our system to before we stupidly downloaded a software program that has not be approved by the user. As I said before, they need to fix the problems, before they give them to us. We are not test rodents, we are humans. Send them an ugly message and reload IE6.
