what is your take on people who make dogs fight?

I don't know about this question or even why people would make dogs such as the pitbull or the rottweiler , or other fighting breeds fight in dog pits. I think the onwer that do this should be looked up and never allowed to own another dog again. Cause it not only bad for the dogs but it is very dangerous for communities. once you take a dog lets just for example a bullmastiff and make it fight to the death then you have created a franstein monster on four legs. Listen I owned a pitbull and I know that they are for the most part gentle until either you raise it to be a fighter or the dog has problems with its hip. As for rottweilers well they are pretty much the same it is how you raise them but if want any breed of dog that was once breed to fight to be a family dog you have to start when they are very young and stay on them every minunte. These people that fight these dogs must a problem. They should see a psychiatrist !!!! They defiantly don't love or care about the animal !!!! What I feel should be done to these people that gets caught fighting dogs is, put the owners in a fighting ring and let them fight each other for their own lives !!! Sound cruel, I DON"T THINK SO!!!!! Give them a taste of their own ignorance!!!! I would turn these people in to the authorities in a heart beat!!!!!

I think any dog has the potential to be a dangerous dog...that's just mother nature...right?
I have had pit bulls off and on my whole life...but they were family dogs. They were taught to be obedient and fairly well behaved. They are probably are some of the best and loyal family dogs I have ever known of. We have had muts, Chihuahua's. I still think that Pits are my favorite breed. I think it is a shame that such a wonderful breed has been stereotyped so badly. All because some bunch of dumb @sses decided it would be good entertainment to fight them or teach them to be aggressive. I completely agree that it depends on the owner of ANY breed to determine the temperament of dogs.

I think people who make dogs fight are stupid. How would they feel if someone put them in a pit and let something beat the **** out of them. It gives dogs suck as a pit bull a bad name and makes people want to ban them. I have a pit and she is my world. All dogs arent bad. The government should punish the people who make dogs mean, and not the dog. The dog cant help how it was trained.

There is nothing that I hate more than animal abuse in any form.
They should get severe jail time & fined & never own another pet ever again.Those people should probably spend some of their jail time cleaning up after animals in dog shelters & cleaning up horse waste from the mounted police horses.

That the owners have serious problems and enjoy seeing other people get hurt. The owners probably abuse friends and family as well.

don't get me started! i will try to keep this short! i think the people are sick and need professional help!! to make money of a dog, yet care so little if it lives or dies!! they should turn a wild animal on the so they can see what it is like!!! they have also gave these breeds a very bad reputation witch tends to cause unfair deaths to very nice dogs!!! in short, THEY MAKE ME SICK!!! i hope these people root in the internal fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think it is absolutley disgusting for someone to do that. my grandma has 2 rottweilers and they are the most lovable animals. to turn them against eachother......makes my stomach churn. people who do that should have the rottweilers bitting off their face so they know how it feels
