He didn't think you were stupid sweety- he was stupid for lying to you and thinking he could getaway with it.
Men lie about lots of things some they should many they should not but in the end he just messed up entirely as a man,
Kick to the curb for being a jerk period.
Brits think americans are different, and yes a little unwise about the world but not stupid. Brits are just as unwise about our world in america and our lives so in the end it is even ground.
If you are a smart intelligent lady then chalk it up to no different that a US guy havening been caught lying too- **** happens.
Life goes on and you will get better at spotting the lies and call them on them when they try and the right guy will fess up and apologize then you both might be a better couple, We must all admit our faults when shown them and strive to become stronger and smarter next time to not make the same bad choice.
Good luck but do not give upon finding another love who can tell you truths when you needs them and lies of love when you need him to pick up your spirits to feel fabulous about you.

in my opinion, being English - i do no longer imagine that British adult males imagine that individuals are stupid, i believe a majority of British adult males see American adult males as very patriotic and that because they're a citizen of the rustic - they believe they're a better significant citizen than the different voters of the international... on the top of the day, there are styles of ladies individuals. the fashion of British lady that would do something to sleep with an American guy are the shape that would do something to sleep with a British guy in united statesa.. those women individuals choose something diverse, and also you cant get a lot diverse than someone from for the time of the pond!

Wellll, I don't know that it would be just British men that think American women are stupid. I think a lot of men in general think women are stupid. Just goes to show you how stupid they are.
