Nah I see a lot of high and mighty prideful people sailing through life...look at Trump, even bankruptcy couldn't stop him. I've also seen people down on their luck with no pride left lose their mobile homes to tornados. I think pride has very little to do with circumstance.

Actually it says " pride goes before destruction and a hugthy spirit before a fall," Yes pride is a huge contributing factor in a great deal of our calamities. God help us.
