Thats just crazy . At 14 no you shouldn't even have a bf. Everyone i know didn't get a bf till about 16 or 17. Besides you dont want to deal with all the troubles a relationship can bring. I would say if i and everyone i know could go back in time they would have waited till they were out of hs. Hanging out with guys and going on dates is cool but just have fun don't get serious its the best advice anyone can give you. Do everything for yourself and dont devote yourself to any one guy. You owe yourself to enjoy every min of your teenage years. Im 20 believe me im not old so i know .good luck

Absoloutley not. Ive known many people who had never had a Boyfriend or girlfriend until they were over the age of 18. Those people you speak of as "surprised or shocked" shouldnt feel that way, because people at your age either dont have a boyfriend/girlfriend,and those few that do, usualy only last a month tops.

Nope not at all. Take your time. your at a very hard age where you are going into no longer a kid and not quite an adult. Enjoy growing up. I have two daughters and I keep telling them this is the time to have friends. Your still very young and boyfriends can come later. Friends will stand beside you no matter what, so make a friend with a boy first, later boyfriends can come into play.

if your smart youll wait a few years dont rush it cause after the first boyfriend then theres lots of crying and whys and its not worth it at 14 enjoy being free because you wont be forever and if you think parents are bad and you have problems now wait till you get that other person in your life and everything really gets stirred up

No!!!! Give yourself time -- when youre ready, you'll know. Most of my friends are older than me, like 16 and 17, and some of them haven't dated yet (either because their parents haven't let them, or they didn't want to yet). Stay true to yourself, and find interests other than boys (as if that's possible=). Good luck!!!

I dont think it's too weird. I didn't have my first boyfriend until i as almost 18 and we were together for three years....almost got married too. :) I'm sure it'll happen for ya, just dont rush into anything too quickly.
