Cooked white rice (very easy to digest--rice is the first food introduced to newborn babies).
Soda crackers--otherwise known as soup crackers are good too.

If you're pregnant, try not to wait too long before eating. Eat small amounts frequently to keep from getting hungry. If you're not pregnant and your vomiting this little trick works wonders. Vomiting builds up acids in your stomach that just makes you more nauseous and makes anything you eat come back up. Sugar however can neutralize the acids. Wait one hour from the last time you threw up then drink 1/2 tsp. of some sugary soft drink (no diet drinks). Wait another hour and take a teaspoon. Drink a tsp every 1/2 hour for the next couple hours then a tsp every 15min. for a couple of hours, then gradually add food, like soup, crackers, toast, etc. Small pieces of hard candy like lifesavers also work well in place of the soft drink. And they help get rid of the bad taste in your mouth. If you vomit again while following the procedure, start all over again. I know this sounds crazy but it works.

Sometimes just letting your stomach and digestive system rest is best when you have a stomach bug. But, when you do start to feel a bit better, try eating a few saltine crackers, toast, poached egg and drink small sips of water. Eat just a little bit and then wait for 1/2 hour or so and if it stays down, then eat a bit more. Once your stomach feels good, start to introduce a little more food.

Ginger for sure. One reason they give you ginger ale in the hospital is to help with nausea. It is not the carbonation that settles the stomach but the ginger. So Sprite won't do the trick.

I get neusea alot and always have peppermint gum in my purse that i use for it. It gets the digestive tract moving cause your brain believes that you are eating....always works for me!! (Peppermint chiclets) to be exact so u wont be walking around with a big wad of gum in your mouth! Give it a shot.
