It is very hard to answer that question because the definition of "Christian" varies so much from person to person. Baylor University did a fascinating study on that in the US. Put that in a search engine if you want to check it out. If nothing else, it will show you how varied the term "Christian" is.
To me, the definition is "one who has accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior." Others might say "one who attends church regularly" or "one who is kind and moral."

There are more Christians in the world than of any other religion, after that is Muslims, and then I think Buddist or Hindu are next....
