Try and find out the cause of his mental illness. Keep him away from it . If it was something small which he misunderstood as big issue, clarify matters to him when he is in his lucid moments. Talk calmly to your mother and find out whether her unhappiness started first or his illness. That will put things in oroper perspective and help you to find a solution. Don't waste your time and money on Astrologers and the like. They only rehash and give back to you the same information you and the family or friends give them, on the basis of trends. They cannot predict anything. It is all a case of Hit and miss. They never tell anything to you when the predictions go wrong; but will promptly claim credit when once of the hits land correctly or somewhere nearby.

yes your father will get better if he seeks the proper treatment. he needs to be seen by a psychiatrist for a proper diagnosis to see if he is suffering from a major mental illness. praying, karma, meditation will not help a person with a mental illness because they usually distort reality. there is no such thing as staying away from mental illness. u either have it, or you do not. mental illness is a organic illness, unless your father has deep rooted psychological problems then a psychologist will help. people with mental illness, usually do better on medication. if u are diabetic you would see your doctor and perhaps go on medication for your condition. mental illness is much the same, you need medication to alleviate your symptoms.. i believe u are from India, i worked in a Canadian psychiatric hospital for 30 years we had many excellent east Indian doctors there who were usually trained in England. if he gets proper treatment and diagnosis your mother will feel better. please remember if he has a major illness such as schizophrenia, it is no ones fault. it happens to a lot of people i hope this helps you. and good luck
