Sort of...
Christianity is a very divided religion where you have the extremist and then you got the liberals. Yes, liberals. You have you're Catholics who believe that you can go heaven for being 'Good', what ever that means. Then there is the Protestants... whom of which are changing and are divided.
Example: homosexuality... OH my!
Homosexual is sin toward God...
God looks at things differently than man does... supposedly.
analogy:
Man see sins as buildings... some are talling and some smaller. In God's eyes the buildings are all alike! digest that. When you hear an ill-informed 'Christian' say that homosexuality is the worse sin ever, they are wrong because all sins are equally weighed.
A liar and is seen in the same light as a homosexual. According to Christianity we've all fallen short from perfection. So you can accept Jesus or deny him... or something like that.

And since God loves everyone the same... EVERYONE! Then Everyone should be treated that way.
Homosexual churches should be needless because we don't have churches for individual sins like stealing and lying and swearing.

La La land? maybe... confused and at a crossroads yes. I think you have valid concern, good question. This is just my crazy christian ideas...LOL.

No, they are not from la la land...they have come to KNOW the Truth. Being a Christian, and studying the Bible, God's Word, is an enlightenment of God's only begotten Son, Jesus, and who and why we are here.

If I tell you the truth, and give you my word on it, you would believe me...Well God gave us His word, and it is the truth. The Bible is the Truth! It says that Jesus is the truth...

Ask any mathematician the definition of "is"...He will tell you it means "equal to". So Jesus is equal to the truth, and the devil is equal to a liar. They are complete opposites. The truth and a lie, cannot occupy the same sentence, and Jesus and the devil cannot occupy the same person. God gave us HIS WORD, and the WORD became flesh, and dwelt among us....

Jesus' birth was prophesied by Isaiah hundreds of years before He was born, in the very way that Isaiah said that He would be born. Christians have just seen that He is really who He said that He was...He is God! I would tell you to accept him by faith alone, and trust that billions of others have seen the truth. Eventually, you will see Jesus as God, too, after you study God's Word for awhile! The Bible says, to study, to show yourself approved! You will see Jesus, and once you do, you will never doubt again..... May God bless you, and thanks for allowing me to answer you.

No, I'm from the Midwest. "La La Land" is found in California. Most other people call it Hollywood. Not many Christians there, btw.

Anyone who gets their "truth" from a book written thousands of years ago (and heavily edited) by men who thought the world was flat and disease was caused by demons, is from La La Land.

Hard to imagine that there are people who walk through life NOT grumbling and being totally selfish all the time. Hard to imagine that there are people that are genuinely happy, even when they are having tough times. Hard to imagine people who KNOW that they will be in heaven forever. Hard to imagine, but true.
