First of all, is this just another homework assignment? If it is, then don't just take this translation and turn it in: look through it and understand how the words go together.

"Rome and Carthage are cities. Rome is in Italy. Carthage is in Africa. Both rome and Carthage have empires. Carthage has an empire in Spain and Sicily. Rome has an empire in Italy. Rome does not like (literally love) Carthage. Carthage does not like (literally love) Rome. Carthage has many Ships and Slaves. Carthage has a lot of money (that is spelled Pecuniam). Rome does not have ships. Rome has farmers and soldiers. Will Carthage conquer Rome?"

*Notice the future tense on the Superabitne, as well as the eclitic -ne ending that indicates a question.

Right... it's been a long time since I studied Latin, but have this as a wild guess...

Rome & Carthage are both states; Rome is in Italy & Carthage is in Africa. Both Rome and Carthage have empires. Carthage's empire takes in Spain & Sicilly, Rome's empire is in Italy. Rome & Carthage are not on friendly terms (war looking likely). Carthage has a strong & well supplied (?) navy . (This next bit has me lost, sorry). Rome doesn't have a navy. Rome seems to have good agricultre & army (land army). Who would win in a war between Carthage & Rome?

sorry, not great but it's been about 20 years, and I wasn't that good then ;)
