I'm 18 and have very little credit. Meeting the payments won't be a problem but I don't know if he can cosign for me. He is in state right now and can go with me to purchase a car.

He can cosign, as long as your an adult by law, or he's your legal guardian. Be careful about cosigning though - that means that he's responsible for anything that happens to the car just as much as you are.

I cosigned for a friend in Maryland. I don't live in Maryland.

he can still cosign. they can fax the papers to him.

yes he can but you'll either have to go to the state he's in or he'll need to come where u are.....basically, both of you need to be present for paperwork
