Yes the TSA will unwrap wrapped gifts. The best thing to do is to get a pre wrapped box from your local Sears!

All depends where your leaving from . Some are more jerks then others. ESPECIALLY IF they are having a BAD day. Best bet might be to have it UPS to where you are going if your staying at a hotel most hotel will except the packages, Be less of a headache also.
The one says they will try to RE-WRAP it. Key word is TRY. They CAN'T even put the clothes back as neatly as you had them,
Also another way is buy a TSA lock lock your suitcase ( ALL TSA 's have a key to open this lock) when the TSA lock is on the bag that bag is more SUBJECT to go through Xrays and NEVER be open.
But if you are worried send the packages out a couple of days before you leave.

Yes, they will un wrap the gifts. If the feel the need to or suspect any reason to do so. If I remember correctly they do their best to re wrap them in the fashion hey were before unwrapping, this also goes for any carry ones that are wrapped.
Anything for our Nations security.
best wishes

i do not imagine that's a rule to leave them unwrapped, yet i have self belief they "advise" not wrapping presents because they "ought to" ought to unwrap them (with the help of carelessly ripping them open) in the experience that they do a random seek for on your bag. it rather is likely rather not likely, in spite of the indisputable fact that this is as a lot as you in case you want to threat it. I fly each and every of the time and almost under no circumstances have my bags searched.

They pick people randomly. If you get picked they will open your luggage, open the presents and leave you a note in your bag.
