i believe it is normal.... when i do 30 bench presses, for basically the next few hours, my triceps are spasming causing my arms to shake... so i think its normal (and i think the reason this happens to me is im trying to lift weights im not ready to lift :P )

Yep, push ups work your triceps, and is one of the best exercises to strengthen those muscles.

personally, I dont think tingling is ok...try to fold a towel several times to give you a softer platform...or do them on your fists to strengthen your wrists

That should mean that you are doing enough work to break down the muscle so it can repair itself and grow stronger.
