I am taking French 1 for school, and I just asked a question on Yahoo Answers France saying "Hello! I am American. Are French guys and ladies nice? Pardon my French! :)". I asked that question in French and someone answered! Basically he said American people are nice too. I couldn't understand exactly what he said, but still, isn't that cool? If anyone out there is learning a foreign language, you should do that! It can really teach you something! :)

It's always good to learn something new that you will be able to use for the rest of your life and possibly in your work.
I speak two languages fluently, English & Spanish. The opportunities have been opening up to me since I learned Spanish as a 2nd language over 20 years ago. You have more of everything. Twice the fun.
I know a few French words too. But I picked Spanish because of the huge influx of Hispanic people into our area.

Well, Guess what? I'm doing the same thing. I'm from Argentina and yesterdey I came to Yahoo Answers in english for the first time and 7 people answered me and I even get one best answer!!! Very cool!! I did not expect that! So today I am here again.
(Actually the question I asked is a part of a song, but it's cool to get answers anyway hahaha)
PS: forget my english and feel free to correct me, I want to improve it.
