STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know who told you to do it, but please do NOT give your dog any form of tylenol, unless you're just trying to harm him (I know you're not.)

It's not nearly as toxic to dogs as ibuprofen, etc....but it can and does cause liver problems that your dog just doesn't need.

Aspirin, aspirin, aspirin, ONLY aspirin for dogs. NO Tylenol or any other version of human pain relievers, unless specifically prescribed by your vet.

I would assume your dog is over 50 pounds. Therefore, baby aspirin won't have much effect on any pain. One adult sized (250 mg) aspirin, twice a day (12 hours apart) will be beneficial for his pain.

This is the dosage recommended by several different vets we have used with our dogs. Inexpensive but effective.

I am sorry you are going through this with your boy. I know just how hard it is to receive such diagnosises. Thank you for caring enough to reach out anywhere you can to try to help him. I wish more pet owners were like you.
