First of all, rape is NOT about sex. It IS about Power. The weapon of choice just happen to be one's strength and genitalia.

This is a violent act of an EXTREMELY mentally ill person!!!

Survival of the fittest should rule here. If the individual accused of the crime is in deed guilty BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT then prison WITH psychiatric help is in order.

In medieval Europe some criminals were marked or tattooed so anyone will know at a glance that person was once a criminal. That mark was imprinted with a red hot piece of steel on their skin, creating a scar that will last for the rest of their lives. In Muslim countries they used to chop off a thief's hand, ergo, that criminal was marked for life.

In the United States sex offender are marked for life too. There is a sex offenders list (not only rapists, child molesters too) a public record that lets you know who has been convicted on sex charges and even if they have extinguished their time in jail, their crime follows them for the rest of their lives (once a sex offender, always a sex offender).

They never move on. Their sin will always be there. I agree they should be locked up for a long time (probably for life). But this alternative works for me too. Let everyone know who they are, so the rest of the population can stay as far away from them as possible.

First off, I think alot of things are called rape that I don't consider 1st degree rape.

There might be some really good reasons to murder. But rape has no reason other than rage, violence, and subjugation. To preform a rape a person crosses a line and anyone willing to cross this line is both too dangerous and undeserving to live in this world.

So the bottom line is that death is the only solution for this person.

I think they all should be put in a building with and open top. Let them all rape each other. Food can be dropped from the sky and they can fight over that also. Why should we spend so much money on housing them. Castration dont work cause ther is so many different forms of rape and sexual offenses.

I would say castration also, but, rape is not always about sex. So even if you take away "that" he will still be able to and may still try to rape someone. Hmm? That is a conundrum.... So, since castration may not end it. I guess death by hanging by the testes over a pit of wooden stakes and live, hungry alligators at the bottom.

Because generally the prisoners there rape them. Or even kill them if children were involved.

You have to take into account that those who are rapists were VERY likely abused when they were younger, so they probably need help.

However, if they are just evil bastards then they should be raped as well. :D

I personally think that he should have to listen to people that have been raped give them THEIR story..(..while he is handcuffed) and he should have to hear all about how rape affects the victim.....he should have to listen to screams, cries, and other sad sounds that rape victims would make.....Psychologically torture the rapist, then.......and I am not kidding....RAPE them with a sex toy or something that would cause physical pain to them.....then keep them in prison.....for the rest of their miserable, sick life.....
