why do so many women go for the player instead of a man who is down to earth and honest?

Other than asking you to define "honest" (because too honest is never a good thing), I would have to say its because women often feel that they can be the one who changes the man, instead of seeing a "only-telling-us-what-we-want-to-hear-so-he-can-get-us-between-th-sheets" man, we see a man who just needs the right woman to change him and see the error of his ways. Don't worry, the smart women grow out of this phase quickly because we see that "down to earth and honest" men are so much less of a headache (not to mention less of a therapy bill).

Unfortunately it is the challenge. Who isnt up for a good challenge? Although, we women get ours cuz the players are the ones who usually breaks our hearts ( and turn us into ice cold bitches). If you are truly down to earth and honest stay that way, in the end it will be you who wins, I can almost guarantee it.

When a girl is ready to settle down she will look for a settling down kind of guy. The bad boy is fun and he gives you a cheap thrill. The good guy is safe and comfortbale and will make a good husband and dad. Most girls need time to test out both pools of guys and will eventually pick a good one unless they have some kind of emotional issue that makes them seek chaos.

the playah is challenging because you have to tame them. if you got what it takes to make a playah quit playing then it's like winning. the playah is desirable because you compete with a lot of women to get their attention and they're usually HOT! but for me, it's just that. it's a game. down to earth men are really what women wants. no playah will be considered for long term relationships unless you want a lot of headaches!!!
