How much hair do you need to put in/on a clip in hair ponytail ?

I know you need to make some what of a ponytail of your own hair but can it be just a little stump?

not that long cause u can get those really tiny hair clips and put lots of them in your hair or little piggy tails all over your head

a stump is fine-I had supershort hair and still did it. really the best thing to do is find like a good african american stylist-which naturally do more of the adding hair thing-I worked with a girl that could just mold my little nothing hair into a stump amazingly-with a ton of product of course but it stayed, and for like 3 days too-I would just take off the clip on at night and wrap my hair in a bandana

short hair usually doesn't look good in a little stump, unless you have a good face/clothes and can pull of the short high ponytail.

as long as ur hair can go in a pony tail you can wear them i know folks with long hair who where them and ppl with really and i mean really short hair that can still go in a pony tail wear them
