I'm like you, just a step worse...I do not believe in God therefore I do not love him/her/it.
My morals are very Christian, and I live a "purer" life than many Christians.
I am ready to face the music if there is a God and I didn't believe in it.
Your situation is the following:
Love is not something which has no cause. Respect is partly the cause of feeling love. Respect is given to people who follow your set of morals, or people who have similar values than you. If you are truly a Christian, your values are Christian, and God is the most "Christian" being, therefore you should respect God and therefore you should Love God.
I think your question contains a contradiction.

You cannot possibly be speaking of the christian bible. If you are, you don't know it very well, and I mean no offense. There is absolutely love or hate for God, and also indifference, which he hates the most. The christian scriptures absolutely inspire love for God, or to at least make an honest decision. What scriptures are you referring to I wonder?

If you are doing everything Scripture says, I think you would pray about this. Ask God to help you understand why you can’t feel anything.
There must be something inside that is hindering you. Perhaps it was the way you were taught? I know some kids are taught to fear God so much they can’t see him as a loving father.
Try just thinking about how profoundly God loved us that he sent us Jesus, that he gave us his Spirit so that we would never have to face anything, any situation, alone! Whether you can feel it or not, you are most definitely loved by God.

Then what's the point of following scripture? I'm not suggesting you go out and do bad things...not that you would. People live by their own credo. If down inside, you are unable to steal from a friend...the scriptures are not what's stopping you. YOU are what's stopping you...so why go through the motions? I don't think God wants you to love Him because you're afraid of what may happen if you don't. I think he wants you to love Him because it's how you really feel.

Of course. Love grows. It doesn't appear all of a sudden. Maybe you need to learn more about who God is and what His word really means. You can't serve a God whom you don't know. Get it? So try to make sense of what you read and try to pray to Him with a lot of confidentiality. Grow a personal relatiionship with Him. He is your Creator. Next to you, He is the one person that knows you completely. Your thoughts. He can read your heart. And you can even pray for your question. Pray so that your love can grow for the scriptures and Him. God will be happy because He knows that you're only trying to improve your spirituality. There is nothing you can't tell him. Pray silently and treat Him like if you were talking to your best friend. Best friends love you and want the best for you, and they know you better than most people.
It's true, you can't force yourself, but you if you draw close to God, He will draw close to you. As long as the "want" is in you to get to love Him, He will help you. =)

The Bible says Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and spirit. If you feel nothing for God , you are not "doing everything the Bible says".
Like anything else, you will get no more out of the relationship than you put in.

You assume love is an emotion, and it is not. It is an action.
That being said, I can't see anyone following 'everything' the Bible says if it is uninspiring for them and they are not getting anything out of it.
