Jesus died for us on the cross so that man no more will die. homosexuality is no longer an abomination. after all being straight can be a sin too!

being straight is a sin too: if you think it you might as well have done it. it says that in the bible. a man thinking sexual thoughts of a woman is sin. so homosexuals can go to heaven too.

Getting truth from a bible is like trying to squeeze custard out of a weasel's butt. It was written by men who thought the world was flat and disease was caused by demons and you think that Atheists are going to fall down trying to climb that manure pile? Not Bloody likely.

Jesus died for his own sins, not mine. - Crass

To blindly believe is to fool yourself. Once you lose ignorance, you cannot regain it.

Wow, enough of these one-liners! I would find it rather difficult to believe in something that I whole heartedly don't believe in. How does one do that? And, more so, to gain faith in something that seems proposterous? Those that say they were atheists and are now believers are either fooling themselves or were never atheists to begin with.

I doubt if the laws of sin existed, they would change for people's convenience or because of society's standards.

Some people can't believe simply on faith and will only believe through reasoning.

i think it's hilarious.

a. some people actually think that you are asking a question because you believe in it.
b. the self-stroke-off of the atheist community on here is just about as warm and fuzzy as the self-stroking of the most hard-core evangelicals telling you "how righteous they are"

When will Christians give people their "God given" right to believe what they want?

I will believe when it is proven to be true.

As it hasn't been and is unlikely to ever be, it is unlikely I am ever going to believe that particular tidbit.

Note: what's the deal with the homosexual/heterosexual stuff? I fail to see how being gay is related to your original question.
