Why Muslim men from Arab still treat women just ike the olden days?

I don't know if we can generalize, but I'm guessing that there's a regional thing there.

Wife beating might be an Eastern thing, but the mutilation, if I'm not mistaken, was done by an Ethiopian Muslim, which got in the News, some time back.

I am a Muslim woman and most of my arab women friends and my Pakistani women are better off than a lot of western women. We live a good life. I am sincerely glad that I am not a western woman. You are just a hypocrite. Most likely u will treat the woman in your life really bad like have an affair the way they do over here. Are you satisfied after hearing from a muslim woman. The mosque that I go to the Arab women are like queens and hopefully their husband do not go out and have affairs as their western counterparts and thats treating the womwn really bad.

It relies upon on the guy. If an jap guy is problematical-hearted and abusive, he will be a similar way if he got here from West. adult men of all races and nationalities commonly experience threatened even as a woman is extra efficient than them. There are respectable ones available (again of all races) who help women's rights yet no longer adequate. seem at how problematical Western women had to strive against for worry-free rights. Did Western adult men pick that for them? No, and that's too late to bypass decrease back now, like how a number of those US Republicans of direction pick to. My father is a Western Muslim convert who's this type of competent father that my acquaintances envy me. keep in mind that Western Muslims also exist :)

well they got the wrong concept and let me tell you, that is vision is narrow, why you didn't see the other countries?how about Brunei,turkey or Malaysia?majority of religion in that country is more that 60% but things like that did not happen,if according to the quran it says, if your wife id not want to obey you punish them, if you see below the page it has been written by the commentary that after giving an advice try times, if the wife still disobey than beat him with only a type wood that being used those day as tooth brush,this does not mean to humiliate the women by beating them with toothbrush it means if we men want to hit the women we hit it with very less paint,but know days, the Muslims are forgetting this verse and started to act inappropriately

My husband, an Arab/Muslim, who emigrated to the United States, is the kindest, hardest-working, most ethical, sweet, strong, gentle, wonderful man I have ever met. I am not Muslim, I am a Christian, and my husband has never treated me with anything other than kindness, understanding, compassion, respect and love - we've been married 18 years.

What are you talking about? I'm Muslim, my husband is Muslim and he'd never such a thing. Its forbidden to abuse/hit women in Islam. Why are you trying to point the finger on one race, when you know damn well that this problem exists worldwide. Just to enlighten you alittle...Afghans are not Arab!

they dont. ive seen it. they treat their wives like queens. the women stay home while men go to work. the women cleans and cooks(something every women should do) and they stay in beautiful gowns. when the husbands get home they eat and talk, and if they need to they go shop. the women wear whatever they want at home wether its a skirt or a short nighty or whatever, but when they go out they cover so they dont get unwanted attention from strangers. they keep their bodies for their husbands to see, touch or whatever. and this is not just with arab women but all muslim women. so no they dont get beatin up or whatever. its only some abusive men who do that just like in america and other countries. take care. have more questions? email me. :)

I am sorry but you are placing a stereotype on Arab men that is not true.

My husband grew up in Baghdad and does none of these things. I have never had a single hand raised to me. I am able to do anything that I want to. I am educated and my husband encourages me to continue.

It is sad that the American press only shows the negative and never the positive. It is how they demonize the enemy. You can never make your enemy look good.

First of all, afghan is not arabian. They are taliban. And I'll give you a response when you can find me where a muslim does that to women anywhere except their country.
