How do i get a fever on purpose? i've already bathed in freezing water for 30 minutes and only managed to get a headache. i hope that was one step closer to getting a fever. can someone tell me whatever ways to get a fever?

Find someone that has one and kiss them on the lips...drink their water, hang around with them...the best way is exchanging bodily fluids.

So you can't catch a fever on purpose. It is possible to increase your body's temp. by excersing, or wearing warm clothes in a warm enviroment, maybe sitting under warm blankets for a while. but your body will probably find ways to cool you down such as sweating, ect. Also if your temp gets to high it could be dangerous, and lead to hyperthermia.

Also when you brush your teeth it is said that if you swallow the toothpaste it will give you a fever, but I don't think it's safe for your stomach due to the chemicals....

the only way to get sick is to be around someone else whos sick, and catch it too.
things like cold water, going out with wet hair, or having wet feet are just old wives tales about getting a fever, they wont make you sick.
