I help take care of my sister's kids without her asking. I help with dinner or dishes when I get the chance. I do free gift-wrapping for my neighbors and family every Christmas. Just doing little things here and there makes a big difference.

i do it all the time. i sponsor young talented people who don't have money to go to educational events.
i donate to worthy charities that have experience doing this for really poor people.
