Regardless of whoever answers what, check with the Minnesota DNR (Department of Natural Resources). Also if you go to places where you can purchase hunting licenses (usually places that you can buy guns) they have booklets available that clearly spell out all the can's and can not's of hunting. Don't just blindly ask somebody on Yahoo, go straight to the source. That way if you do get busted for something illegal you can't tell the game warden that you "thought" it was ok just because that is what you heard. Hunting laws are often different than those for recreational shooting. I know in Wisconsin laser sights are illegal for deer, but just fine for the shooting range. For other animals I'm not sure. I highly doubt silencers are legal for hunting, but wouldn't think they would be illegal for the shooting range. But honestly I don't know. Check with the DNR and local Police. A simple phone call is all it takes to keep you out of jail.

You're going to get all kinds of uninformed answers here, some will say silencers are illegal, in some states they are, but the vast majority of the USA has laws allowing civilian ownership of silencers, if you pay the tax. Compensated weapons are legal everywhere ( I'm almost 100% certain of this) and laser sights are too, unless your local state has made them illegal, your best bet wouldbe to contact any of your local gunshops and ask them what is legal in your state for you to own, and what tax's may apply for posession of above mentioned items,.

you cannot hunt with a silencer/suppresor. you can hunt with a compensator, as all it does is reduce recoil/ muzzle flash. you can use a laser, but i wouldnt trust one shot on a hunt to a laser. i would use the sights or better yet the scope.

97B.031 of the MN statutes says; "a person may not own or possess a silencer for a firearm or a firearm equipped to have a silencer attached."
There are exceptions for wildlife control by the state goverment or DNR, as stated in section 609.66.
Laser sights are legal in MN.

It is very illeagal without a special permit from the ATF.
