The first thing you need to do is talk to an attorney and see what he tells you to do and then, you should be able to get your son, depending on the circumstances of what the reason was that the grandmother got the child in the first palce, and as long as you can prove that your a fit father i don't see why they won't award u custody of your child.

well if you go b4 a judge and tell them that you want custody of your son and they prove you ta b a fit dad theres nothing that should stand in your way but if they prove you unfit then you will never get custody i no this because my brothers xz gf tried ta give there son to her mom and dad but my brother went to the judge and said that he wanted his son he had ta go to court they couldnt prove him unfit so he got custody

sure there is, you will have to file the paper work that needs to be filed with the courts. but it also depends on what the reason is as to why she has it and you don't. the court will also look at the fact as to weather you can take care of this child.a place to live, food on the table, etc.
