Get your doctor to see if you have a yeast infection. Also ask your doctor or go to a clinic where you can be anonymously tested for HIV. I am not saying by any means that you may have this. I got a yeast infection once in my mouth and throat because I was on some major antibiotics and a doctor gave me PREDNISONE which lowered my immune system. Sometimes an adult gets a yeast infection there from lowered immune system. If so, your doctor will likely give you Nystatin Swish and Swallow plus something like Diflucan. That is, if it is a yeast infection and that medication is right for you.

Sounds like an infection, bacterial or yeast or something. It could even be momo. Go to another DR. What the heck! I'd be very unhappy. Did they do a strep or momo test or anything? In the meantime take vit. C, high doses and eat yogurt with live cultures, read the label. Then go to the health food store and buy oregano extract...ask them how to take it for a yeast infection. The white mouth makes me think yeast. At least you'll be doing something. If the Dr. gives you antibiotics, at last, take it and then the yogurt at least 2 hrs. after to keep the yeast from going out of control. Antibiotics kill good bacteria and allow yeast to take over and that makes us really suseptible to all kinds of diseases. Get back to that DR. AT least CALL and demand some treatment? They did nothing? Oh yeah, gargle in salt water 3 times a day and drink hot chicken broth. Good luck.

Well, it souds like you have something called "Thrush" in the roof of your mouth, which is a form of yeasts, & swollen lymph nodes are clearly signs of infection. What kind of doctor do you have if you've gone to them 3 times & they can't tell you what's wrong with you, or cure you? You should really consider getting a new doctor.

I'm not sure about adults but with babies it's called thrush and it's a type of fungus that is treated with meds.
