If it happens just before, during, and a few minutes after orgasm, that's normal. The rapid pulses through the nerves as you orgasm spread through the whole groin and spread through the rest of the body. Since the nerves to the legs are the closest branches of nerves, it affects them first and more than the rest of the body. Imagine you're trying to draw a straight line down the middle of a piece of paper. If someone came up behind you and patted you on the shoulder then bumped your elbow during your task that line is going to look pretty shakey. Same effect is happening to your legs during sex.
You shouldn't be embarassed about your legs shaking during orgasm. If the person your with asks you why your legs are shaking tell them you just orgasmed, they'll be glad to know this and they'll be looking for that every time to make sure you're satisfied.
If you're overly concerned about your legs shaking you can always take yoga and get flexible enough to tuck them behind your head, that's a turn-on for most guys, or you can get into some light bondage and just have you legs tied up so they don't move.
I think you should let them shake. Most guys hate it when women fake their orgasms, because faking is the same as lying. Once a guy knows what to look for (shaking legs, flaring nostrils, eyes go cross-eyed, a particular giggle, etc.) when the woman has a real orgasm they will keep going until they see those signals that tell him he succeeded in giving the woman pleasure.

For me I make my legs shake. I can't orgasm unless I tence up my muscles in my legs rock hard and sqweeze my husband so tight and just shake the crap outta my legs with all my might. Then I feel it in my hoohaa then down lower then my entire legs explode with a massive strong orgasm. Then I stop shaking... breathe cause I'm outta breath and very weak then I do it again a min later and 4 seconds later my body does it again. After the third time my body is limp. Dead. I'm so done LOL I tell my husband YOUR TURN LOL that means hurry I'm finished. LOL. But moral of story is I purposely make myself shake otherwise nothing happens LOL

Its normal...most of the bodily responses to sex are involuntary like ejaculation for instnace (although some guys swear they can control it). So don't worry, you're leg is fine... I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of other girls experience the same thing.
