If I buy a region free DVD player and then buy an American (Region 1) dvd and then try to play it in Australia

Will it play ok or does it depend on the framerate and how it is recorded, I do not understand regions and such, can someone please help me

Unless that DVD is dating that Region Free DVD player, this is in the wrong category. Right, BH?

As long as the DVD player is region free then it'll play any DVD anywhere.
