you need to consider what you want in life, and how will an education help you attain that. Set a goal, and research what it takes to reach it. I have a friend who is 23. He is flying F-15 fighter jets, that didn't happen by accident. He had a plan! I know a good guy who is fifty. He didn't have a plan at all, barely graduated, didn't get a job, or go to college. He just played around for a while, getting a job when he needed money, suddenly he is fifty and still working a Burger King. 1. If you have homework, do it before anything else, especially on Friday 2. Study without the radio or television on 3. Read the whole chapter and try to write what was printed (explain it in your own words) 4. If you don't understand the lesson, you won't remember it. 5. Don't worry about the other people in class thinking you are stupid (they think the teacher is stupid). 6 If you don't understand, ask!

Less time online would probably help, but once you get past that try this...

You need learn the best way you study. Ask yourself questions like: Do I like a lot of noise? or do I like it quiet?

Do I want a lot of people around or do I need to be alone?

Do I need a huge chunk of time or is less better?

Do I need to write everything down or can I photograph things in my mind and remember them?

And so on and so forth...

When in doubt... study more and try everything till you find the way you remember things best.

For example: I study best for about 2 hours in a crowded place with lots of noise, but that is just me... it's a constant search, but once you find it your grades will improve.
