WEll i would hate to be going through that.ummm.... Have you tried talking to the guy and ask what he sees in the girl? You ask her who she chooses and dont be shy. This is your whole future. Now me personally i would just talk to her parents about it and ask them to talk to the guy with you so if he tries to do something you'll have protection and wittneses just incase he tries anything. I dont really know what else to tell you. But i'm sorry about what your going through. I hope everything works out for you. If no one answers it ask God. He answers all my problems. Just ask him to fogive you for all of your sins and ask him to help. God is good remember that. Pray every night before you go to sleep with your girl friend and God Bless You. Ill even pray for you.

Here is the deal. You tell this girl that she has to grow a set, tell her parents and this poor guy that the arranged marriage is not happening and she is marrying you. It's OK if she asks you to be with her during this. If she does it, she is truly in love with you and is willing to do anything for you. She is a keeper. If she doesn't do it you most likely do not have the right girl. The only way to do it is this way. Short and direct. Good Luck!

Not giving anymore information it's hard to give you an answer.

You can't be in America.
The only religion that is remotely associated with arranged marriages is the Unification Church.
I suggest you talk to someone you trust in the legal profession for help

Obviously trying to talk to the family won't change anything but maybe if you both speak to them and don't give them an option maybe you can be together!! If the other guy is in it for not wanting to get married then you should try that first before you start talking to the family!!

How old are the two of you? This sounds like the both of you are very young..running away or making the guy leave?? If you're adult enough to think you're ready for marriage then you need to be adult enough to talk to her parents and be honest with them.

Isn't religion repressively wonderful to women? If it were me I'd just get married and to heck with the planned marriage.

Be an adult and face her parents...if she doesn't want an arranged marriage then she needs to tell them that. Even if it means that they will disown her, she should be happy.

not to bash religion, but i have never understood that!
God gave each of you your own life, you each have a choice or should have a choice as how you want to live it.
i'd run away if i were her........man, i feel sorry for you two. Do it!
