Get in shape. Any type of surgery is traumatic to your body, getting into shape helps you in the long run a little more, unless surgery is the only way to save your life.

Consider getting in shape...
I know it is hard and coming from a larger lady by myself I understand how hard it can be..
Getting over surgery is a lot more painful than than getting in shape...
I found getting into shape helped, and I was able to put off surgery for many years.. In fact they have said now it could be as much as 10 years before I have to consider surgery...
The ultimate choice is yours but from a health point of view, I would consider getting in shape first and then use surgery as a last resort..
Consider this... If you can do something to delay surgery, do it, it is not fun to recuperate..
I wish you all the best in your quest for good health.

Getting in shape will help with whatever problems you're having, as well as provide life long benefits. A surgical procedure will only correct one problem, and the effects may or may not last. If you get in shape, your body will be stronger and healthier. If you have surgery, one area of your body will be quite weak for quite some time. So, what sounds better to you?
