That is not really a huge span..I have had a few great loves that were much younger and they were the most meaningful really. It just seemed there was more playful fun and passion. The last one was 20 yrs younger than I am and I left him after three yrs and I am afraid it was a mistake as no one will ever love me as he did. We were really perfect mates and there just hasn't been a man since that could make me feel like he did. I think women are different now and you should follow your heart. Numbers don't count really, I know people that are old at a young age and older people that you would never know their age.. Just be happy don't let the age thing mess it up like I did, I lost a great man probably the greatest love of my life and my best friend.

Sometimes it can but when the woman is older sometimes it just won't work out!! A woman matures faster then a man and when it comes down to settling down and starting a family the woman will always be ready for it before the man!! If you set out your life goals early to eachother so each one knows what they want then maybe it can work because you's might want the same thing but just think of things popping up and sometimes what you want today usually doesn't work out in 2 -5 years time!! People change!!

YES! It can.....my Mom married a man 16 years younger than her a few years after my Dad died. All that matters is how you feel about each other and if you have a good time together. I am dating someone 17 years older than me and we have an excellent time together. Who cares what others think! If you love the person then go for it. I can't tell you that it's easy, I am having a hard time right now but I do have feelings for this man and they are very real. Just follow your heart.....

Let's see your main concerns are:
-older than him 8 yrs which lead to ageing faster
-might get bored of an old hag which lead to younger girl
-22 kinda young for marriage if you want one
-not able to cope with him or his lifestyle
-afraid that he don't want to settle down
Did I miss anything?
You can throw all these concerns far far away if you want the relationship to work, all these concerns just will depress you which lead to unnecessary arguements that will affect the relationship.
It his thought and yours that matter. If you both think the relationship will work, then it will because you want it to work

Absolutely!! I'm 43 and dating a 35 year old. Don't worry about your ages... just enjoy each other and the attraction that you feel. Age is how you feel in side... not a number. Just live your life.

Chances are he is immature and you will find this out soon enough. Give it a try...but if it goes wrong don't look at it as time wasted, but as a lesson learned.

Yes it can. But most guys are more immature for their age then girls so just be careful so nobody gets hurt. Or maybe that just sounds stupid
